BERGMANN GLADIATOR FIRE TOY. Circa 1860-1880 magnificent tin pull toy shows horse drawn, steam driven fire pumper with front and rear firemen. Cast wheels with hand painted fruit to boiler area. Toy stenciled “GLADIATOR”. Great folk art decorative piece. Another toy that would look fabulous at base of Victorian Christmas tree. SIZE: 16-1/2″ l. CONDITION: Very fine overall older restoration to this still desirable toy. Replaced wooden knob on top of boiler. 1-13358 (1,500-2,500)
