LARGE BING FERRY BOAT. Bing made a variety of ferry boats in several sizes and this is the largest. This rare and impressive hand painted piece has an orange hull with two red paddle wheels and yellow superstructure. Gray upper deck has tall smokestack, two removable lifeboats, two large air vents, and a bench for passengers. Stenciled with an arrow and anchor on side of boat. This example was made for only a brief period and this is the last year they made a non die-cut paddlewheel. SIZE: 21″ l. CONDITION: Although visually very good, black light examination reveals large areas of touch up. 1-11941 (2,000-3,000)
