CHINESE CARVED FERN STAND WITH MARBLE INSERT. Second half 19th century. Pentagonal top with beaded and molded edge, centering a circular rose marble insert above conforming pierced floral carved frieze. Raised on five cabriole legs joined by pierced floral returns, each leg headed by stylized dragon, legs joined by stretchers joined to central floral rondel. SIZE: 26″ h x 16″ dia. overall. CONDITION: With old original surfaces some fastening pegs absent, minor damage to one bead at top, otherwise very good. 9-24037 (600-800)
