FALLOWS PURE MILK WAGON. A charming early American tin toy depicting a milk delivery vehicle with driver. As the toy is pulled along the carpet the front wheels activate a bell to alert prospective customers that fresh milk is available for immediate purchase. Painted in dark blue with an abundance of gold pin-striping, stenciling and the words “PURE MILK” with an image of a cow on the side of the wagon. A single butterscotch horse draws the milk wagon on its daily rounds. Seldom found in these brilliant and bright colors. SIZE: 12″ l. CONDITION: Butterscotch has some in-painting, most notably to front legs, wagon itself has paint and stenciling enhancement. 1-10517 (1,000-1,500)
