This particular item emulates the full sized showcases of similar construction, so the question remains unanswered. Finely constructed with a wood frame with an overlay of nickeled tin. The showcase features a curved glass front with two glass shelves on upper section. Likely manufactured in the early 20th Century, this showcase is a great display item for those who collect pocket mirrors, marbles, penny toys, tip trays, etc. In nice original finish which might be enhanced with a little metal polish to bring out the true luster.
