TWO BLUE AND WHITE CHESTNUT BASKETS WITH UNDERLINERS. The first a Leeds example with reticulated lace border, Blue Willow scene. The basket with pierce cutouts in oval form with two handles. Unmarked. 19th Century. The second, Staffordshire example with pierced lace band on underliner. Matching basket with diamond shaped cutout band, both in Blue Willow decoration, unmarked. SIZE: 1) Underliner: 10-1/4″ x 8″. Basket is 9-3/4″ x 6″. 2) Underliner: 9-1/2″ x 7-1/4″. Basket is 9-3/4″ x 6-1/4″. CONDITION: Very good. 9-98876 (800-1,200)
