SALESMAN SAMPLE ADAMS ROAD GRADER. An outstanding piece of early construction equipment, exact in every detail. The Adams Leaning Wheel Road Grader, so named because the front and back wheels adjust with the turn of a crank for turning the vehicle when pulled behind a team of horses or oxen. It features numerous working levers and gears to change the height, pitch, and angle of the blade. Retains original brass plaques on both sides identifying J.D. Adams Co. of Indianapolis. Painted long ago in pumpkin orange. SIZE: 22″ l x 9″ w.
