MARKLIN HEINZ PICKLE CAR. A very desirable, what appears to be a hand painted Heinz pickle 1-gauge boxcar. Enameled with orange sides and a black roof with the trademark Heinz Pickle 57 Varieties emblazoned on the side. Underside of car is rubber stamped in red with the Marklin emblem. One of the more difficult cars to find and a perfect complement to the various Marklin beer cars. SIZE: 11″ l. CONDITION: Overall good to very good. Uniform fading to orange coloring and appears the black trucks might have had old inpainting. 1-12937 (1,000-2,000)
