IVES CLOCKWORK DOUBLE DANCER. Circa 1880 mahogany stained wooden box platform shows decal of well dressed pre-Victorian woman. Engage clockwork mechanism and two Black fully jointed wooden dancers perform above. Figures are well articulated and believed to be in all original clothing. Excellent movement. Fine example for collectors of early clockwork or Black Americana. SIZE: 10-1/2″ t. Figures are 5-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Box and mechanism are excellent.
