WHITMAN’S CHOCOLATE COUNTER TOP DISPLAY. Scarce Lego-stylized messenger boy display with original Whitman’s Sampler candy box under arm. These were distributed in limited numbers during the 1920s to the sales force for selected accounts where Whitman’s was sold. Base bears an aluminum tag which reads “Designed and produced by W.L. Stensgaard & Associates, Inc., Chicago, Illinois”. SIZE: 18-3/4″ high. CONDITION: Some wear to corners of cardboard box but the balance of the display in very good to excellent condition. 1-7996 (1,500-2,000)
