ASSEMBLED FOWLING PIECE. Cal. 12 ga. 40-1/4” round bbl dated 1830 with Massachusetts proof marks. Lockplate is from a Tower musket and it is dated 1850. Stock has been broken through the wrist and crudely repaired using a stove bolt. Front foot of the stock is missing. CONDITION: Rust brown patina overall, heavily pitted around the breech. Stock shows numerous chips and splits. Hammer is bent but the lock still functions. 4-47859 FS68 (100-200)
