UNIDENTIFIED FLINTLOCK BLUNDERBUS. NSN. 60 Cal. 15” rnd bbl. This blunderbuss has been assembled using parts from different countries. The stock is French. The lock and bbl are of undetermined origin. The triggerguard and sideplate are roughly cast. The bbl tang does not fit the inlet in the top of the stock. CONDITION: Vise marks on the bbl. Light to moderate pitting on the lock. Stock has several cracks and some repairs. Toe of the stock is broken off and the buttplate has been folded over in this area. Mechanically functional. Wm.
