DOUBLE STAMPED J. HARRIS & CO., BOSTON FULL BODY COPPER HORSE WEATHERVANE. Last quarter 19th century. Nice large example with verdigris surface, stamped “J. HARRIS & SON/BOSTON” on each side of the body. Stamp on proper left side is inverted. Rendered with a copper head and tail. Offered with a modern stand. SIZE: Vane: 23-1/2 h x 37-1/4″ l. CONDITION: With multiple old, in use repaired and filled bullet holes and with some minor old seam splits. Additionally with some minor dents, notably on right front quarter.
