FRANZ BERGMAN (AUSTRIAN 1898-1963) DESERT CARAVAN. Cold-painted bronze depicting two Arabs with camels amidst ruins beneath palm trees. All polychrome paint decorated, the right rear flank of each camel with Bergman’s classic “B” mark, the plinth of the statue also with incised mark. SIZE: 4″ h x 5-3/4″ l x 3-3/4″ d. CONDITION: Retains original surfaces in need of slight cleaning. Otherwise very good. 9-99013 (4,000-5,000)
