ENGLISH SILVER REPOUSSE CENTER BOWL. London, 1795-96. Chased and fluted center bowl cast with handles of female winged creatures. Decorated overall with scrolling floral vinery centering cartouches, raised on a similarly decorated pedestal base. The base rim with maker’s and date marks (see photo). 36 troy oz. SIZE: 8-1/2″ h. 8-3/4″ dia. of bowl. 12-1/2″ overall width. CONDITION: Very good overall. Inside of bowl showing wear to solder marks at attachment of pedestal base. 9-96620 (1,000-2,000)
