CHINESE CARVED ROSEWOOD AND MARBLE ARMCHAIR. Late 19th, early 20th century, China. The serpentine crestrail pierced with fruit and foliate carving centering a rectangular panel inset with a shadow marble plaque. Back joined to square arms with serpentine supports, each with similar pierced carving centering a rectangular panel seat raised on square legs, joined by a box stretcher. SIZE: 35″ h x 24″ w x 19″ d. 19″ h of seat. CONDITION: Generally very good with old surfaces. Small repair to proper right panel in arm. 7-73197 (300-500)
