WILLIAM READ & SON FOWLING PIECE. NSN. Cal. 28ga. 45” round bbl. The very thin buttplate is nailed to the stock with numerous small brass tacks. CONDITION: Rust-brown patina overall. Stock has been broken through the wrist, repaired and sanded. A long sliver is missing in front of the lock on the right side and two others on that side and two on the other are missing.
