BUDDY L BUS. Without a doubt, the Buddy L bus is perhaps one of the finest pieces of pressed steel ever produced by any company. So lifelike in nature, looking inside, there is a bevy of seating to accommodate 24 passengers and the bus driver. It seems somewhat odd that Buddy L went to such extremes since there was no access to these seats other than the opening doors at the front. Extremely heavy, Buddy L went all out with this vehicle. A nickel plated bumper, nickel plated headlights, visor over the windshield, dual mounted spares, opening doors, seating, etc. This bus only came in this odd blue-green combination that was used for this vehicle exclusively. This is a remarkable example because these toys are usually so susceptible to damage and paint loss (especially to the roof). If there was one drawback, the decals are slightly faded. SIZE: 28-1/2″ l. CONDITION: Overall very fine plus with minimal wear and chipping/dents to front fenders. A superlative example of a fabulous toy. 1-13092 (4,000-7,000)
