CHARLES PARTRIDGE ADAMS (American, 1858-1942) “SAN JUAN MOUNTAINS”. Large oil on canvas mountain scene shows partially snow covered peaks reflecting a pink sunset, a crescent moon is seen under a blue sky and shadows are cast on the mountains backside. Signed on reverse of canvas and titled on the stretcher. Housed in a gesso decorated period fame which is “as is”. San Juan Mountains are located in Colorado. SIZE: 36” x 29”.
