KEYSTONE RIDE-ON BUS. True to form, this cross country bus with a Packard style body and the Greyhound label/decal on the side stating “Coast to Coast” was the type of bus one would see in the 1930s-40s traveling about the country. Rarer and perhaps more aesthetically pleasing than the Buddy L bus, this toy is less frequently encountered. Appearance wise, approximately the same in length, it is more massive in height and the rear view of the bus features six different license plates, large tail lights, and a luggage rack. Normally, this bus is found with a T-bar that projects through the roof allowing the rider to steer the bus. Upon opening the hinged roof, there is now a small steering wheel to adjust the direction. Bus is largely intact and an excellent candidate for restoration. SIZE: 31″ l. CONDITION: Overall a good solid bus in need of some minor straightening. There is what appears to be a bullet hole on the left rear fender and an external dent above rear set of double windows on right side of bus. 1-12769 (750-1,250)
