UNIQUE ART DANDY JIM WITH OB. Similar in nature to the black coon jigger toys, this particular toy has a circus motif with a clown standing on top of a circus tent with a plethora of circus related themes surrounding the base of the tent. A fun toy and great action, this toy from the 1920s-30s was manufactured by Unique Art and on the underside it states “Dandy-Jim The Clown Dancer Ferdinand Strauss Corp.”. Overall condition of the tin toy is very fine plus to near mint with a tiny bit of wear on edge line of tent and edge of circus topping (where clown stands). Virtually no chipping to white tent top and/or red and white tent topping. SIZE: Toy is approx. 9-1/2″ t. Box is 5″ x 6-1/2″ x 3″. CONDITION: As state above. Box is intact, but some distress most noticeable to right front corner where small section of cardboard is missing. 1-12476 (700-900)
