THREE COIN OPERATED MACHINES. 1) Rare Gyro ski-ball machine. A pressed steel case enameled in maroon and highlighted with great ski-ball decals. Interior is lithographed in a comical sense; one would deposit a penny, turn the lever and have six balls to score big. Seldom found, this machine is in as-is all original condition. 2) A cast aluminum Parker Pencil Vendor. Circa 1920s, a nickel would be deposited, a knob turned and your new Parker pencil would be deposited in the tray below. 3) A 1940s vintage Hershey Chocolate Bar vending machine. This type of machine was commonly seen in railway stations, bus terminals, subways etc. The mechanism had a huge tray-like dispensing area and will hold a multitude of chocolate bars. Machine appears to be in original finish with exception of small 4″ x 4″ paper label. In working order and ready to put out for display in your game room. SIZE: 20″ x 14″, 10″ x 9″ t and 5-1/2″ w x 37″ t respectively. CONDITION: 1) It appears that the machine might be missing six balls and launching mechanism for said balls appears to be damaged. 2) Has simple mechanism but is currently jammed and lacking key for small padlock. 3) Complete and functional. 1-9523, 1-9527, 1-9528 (400-800) Auction: Advertising, Toy & Doll - Fall 2009 Please Note: All prices include the hammer price plus the buyer’s premium, which is paid by the buyer as part of the purchase price.
