ATTRIBUTED TO JANE PETERSON (American, 1876-1965) COLONIAL GARDEN. Oil on board scene shows a white salt box colonial home with attached wing having a curving walkway leading to a colorful garden with red and blue flowers. Large tree shades the scene. Unsigned. Housed in a gilt carved wood modern frame. SIZE: 24″ x 18″. PROVENANCE: This painting came from the artist’s estate when it was disbursed in the late 1960s in Ipswich, Massachusetts. CONDITION: One small scrape at bottom edge and slice off left corner. Otherwise, very good. 9-94331 (6,000-8,000)
