TWO SIMILAR CARVED TEAK FERN STANDS. Chinese, Late 19th Century. The tallest round stand with molded edge and conforming circular rose marble insert above a carved scrolling apron raised on cabriole legs terminating in claw feet. The second example with shaped round top and undulating beaded apron centering a conforming rose marble insert above the apron of pierce carved scrolling vinery. Raised on molded cabriole legs headed by carved flowerheads and terminating in stylized ball and claw feet. SIZE: 21″ h x 15-3/4″ dia. 15″ h x 18″ dia. CONDITION: Both with original surfaces, in very good condition overall. The second example with small chips in apron and old restoration to one foot. 9-98901 (700-900)
