FINE VICTORIAN CARVED MAHOGANY LOLLING CHAIR. Third quarter 19th century. The shaped raked padded back joined to rolled curved arms, the downswept acanthus-carved supports centering a trapezoidal upholstered seat with serpentine front rail carved with scrolling vinery, the knees with carved guilloches and leaftips raised on scrolled snail feet. SIZE: 39-1/2″ h. of back. CONDITION: Retains original dark surfaces, covered in old pink velvet fabric; structurally sound with acceptable normal wear. 9-92827 (100-200)
