SUNG STYLE ARCHAIC BRONZE BOWL. Probably Ming Dynasty China. On the inside of the bowl is an engraved decoration of two fish. The sides of the bowl decorated overall with a row of mythical dragons. The center of the base stamped with a partially obliterated seal mark. Old label in German still attached to base. SIZE: 2-1/2″ h x 14-3/4″ dia. PROVENANCE: Ex collection Viktor De Kowa (1904-1973) German Director/Actor to the current owner CONDITION: Generally very good with normal and expected corroded and worn surfaces. 9-24888 (2,500-3,500)
