STEIFF LION HEAD TROPHY. Made for the US Market these trophies were usually made in 11″ and approx. 23-1/2″, while this version is 5-1/2″. This little lion trophy consists of a miniature lion head mounted to a wooden plaque which is slotted on the back for easy hanging. Head itself is made from mohair and stuffed with excelsior. Complete with long mohair mane, glass eyes, pink embroidered nose, open mouth with four wooden teeth. SIZE: 5-1/2″. CONDITION: Near excellent. Though lacking button, this is undoubtedly Steiff. 7-70230 (300-500)
