MILLS 10 CENT CASTLE FRONT SLOT MACHINE. An older restoration to this machine (10-15 years?). Always wishing to attract prospective players, machines were constantly being redesigned for physical appearance as well as additional gimmicks. The Mills Castle Front first produced in the 1930s featured a knight’s head with the reels emanating from his helmet. Other medieval motif such as a castle and stars decorated the front castings. The aluminum castings highly polished and painted blue would catch the prospective player’s eye and then would be drawn in spending his hard earned money in hopes of winning the jackpot. SIZE: 16″ x 16″ x 26″. CONDITION: Overall very fine plus. 1-9588 (1,000-1,500)
