ALEXANDER/EDMONDS #10 TETHER RACER. Spectacular Alexander tether car purportedly assembled by Don Edmonds with parts acquired from the Alexander estate. Racer is rear-wheel drive with pivoting solid front axle. Fabulous details include a louvered belly pan, piano-hinged and louvered upper hood, aluminum dashboard with detailed brass surround instruments, side hand brake and hand fuel pump. Brand of gas engine unknown. Left side of racer shows intake tubes for carburetors. Right side shows full length cast aluminum tailpipe with heat baffle plate at cockpit area. Two-piece slotted aluminum wheels with functioning knock-offs. SIZE: 18-1/2″ l. CONDITION: Superior workmanship throughout. Extraordinary detail.
