WILKINS TRANSITION AUTO AND BUDDY L FLIVVER DUMP TRUCK. 1) Wilkins Transition Auto is a very early car with working clockwork and original lady driver. It is a transitional piece in that it is half cast iron horse drawn carriage and half tin automobile. This toymaker used the remainder of their horse drawn carriage parts and figured out how to make a tin front end to make it into a very early automobile. 2) Number 211 Buddy L Ford dump truck. All black except for red painted aluminum cast wheels. Open dump section tapers to a point on each side with latch release for dump. Open driver seat, operating steering wheel, front fenders only, and short running boards. SIZE: 1) 9″ 2)12″ PROVENANCE: From the collection of Malcolm Deisenroth, Jr. CONDITION: 1) Fair. 2) Good, appears to be an all original truck except for light black wash over whole top surface and a red over-paint on front axle. 1-10137, 1-10243 (500-1,000)
