NORTHWEST PERSIAN ORIENTAL CARPET. First half 20th century. The ivory poled medallion within a blue/black field, guarded by rose red spandrels, the whole with dense polychrome floral vinery. The blue/black guard border with rose red pink and indigo floral latticework, the outer black and cranberry border of turretwork. SIZE: 12′ x 8′ 8″. CONDITION: Strong vibrant colors with slight wear at one corner. Loss to end fringes and minor damage to selvage. 9-98467 (1,200-1,400)
