EPIPHONE RECORDING MODEL ALHAMBRA BANJO. Circa late 1920’s. the four string banjo having a nineteen fret neck with inlays and engraved yellow pearloid fingerboard and headstock. Covered resonator with silver plated parts. Made by the Epiphone Banjo Corporation New York. The peghead inscribed “EPIPHONE ALHABRA RECORDING”, the tail piece inscribed “EPIPHONE”. Housed in a modern replacement case. Numbered on silver plated resonator frame “8096”. SIZE: Overall length: 34″. Resonator diameter: 13-1/2″. Head diameter: 11″. CONDITION: Old horizontal repair at base of neck, shows as a tight crack, restrung, shows use with some plating, worn. Case like new. 9-29563 (2,000-3,000)
