BUDDY L FLIVVER HUXTER. Number 212-A Ford one-ton deliver truck, 1927-1930, all black except for red aluminum 8-spoke wheels. This truck was part of the Buddy L Flivver series and is one of the most difficult to find in exceptionally nice condition. This model has a continuous hard canopy top extending from enclosed cab over cargo section supported by three posts on each with latching drop-down tailgate. Buddy L decals on doors and partial decal on bottom. This model is sometimes referred to as the “Huxter”. SIZE: 14″ PROVENANCE: From the collection of Malcolm Deisenroth, Jr. CONDITION: Truck is in fine condition with possibly a slight glazing of over-paint on the roof, which with a professional cleaning should reveal very good paint underneath. As it is now you probably wouldn’t catch this paint condition unless you looked at it under magnification. 1-10236 (1,000-2,000)
