CAILLE “DOUGHBOY” SLOT MACHINE & “BEST HAND” POKER TRADE STIMULATOR. A pair of vintage 1940s gambling machines. First being a Caille Doughboy in functional operating condition. Metal castings have been repainted/restored and wooden cabinet has been refinished. An attractive and well playing machine. The second machine is a trade stimulator entirely made of cast aluminum and is designed for two competing players. The first player attempts to make the best hand in poker and then his friend plays the alternate side in the attempt to beat his buddy. Enameled in a hammered gold finish with black highlighting, this machine even though it was a penny was a real money maker for the operator. SIZE: 15″ x 15″ x 23″ and 13″ w x 9″ d x 20″ respectively. CONDITION: Slot machine is functional, however, the third wheel is a bit sluggish; lacking back door key.
