BLISS PAPER ON WOOD ROCKING CHAIR. Bliss – England. Mahogany stained wooden rocker shows scholarly English gentleman/grandfather. Image is lithographed on paper then applied to wooden chair. Top side of chair is sculpted to the gentleman’s large hat. Front edge of rocker cut to figure’s legs. Penciled inscription to backside includes “Helen’s 12th Birthday, 1890”. This would be a fabulous display piece for a period doll. SIZE: 13″ t. CONDITION: Very nice appropriate patina. Paper litho is near 100%. 1-13370 (300-500)
