NICHOLAS II RUSSIAN IMPERIAL RELISH DISH. Green mark to base. The crescent shape dish with gold edged blue band having a crown and conjoined initials H.A. SIZE: 9-1/2″ wide. PROVENANCE: A certificate from the Schaffer Collection is included. Inventory #1049. The certificate indicates that the “H.A.” stands for Nicholi Alexandrovitch. The underside bears the monogram and crown of Nicholas II, and the date it was made. The certificate also indicates that it is from the Alexander palace at Tsarskoye Selo. CONDITION: Some light losses to gold, otherwise very good. 9-28445 (800-1,200)
