SCARCE E.A. PRESCOTT UNMARKED HUMPED FRAME SPUR TRIGGER REVOLVER WITH DISPLAY CASE. Cal. 22 RF. SN 49. Blue & silver with 2-3/4” oct bbl, walnut birds head grips. Accompanied by a 14-3/4” x 10” felt lined display case containing an empty rare American Metallic Cartridge Co. box, a mounted sample of the 22 cartridge & a mounted sample of a 38 RF Navy Prescott cartridge. The second hanger is for the E.A. Prescott Navy Model, Cal. 38 RF, marked “G.S. RICHARDSON”, SN 180, also being sold in this auction. CONDITION: Fine. Bbl & cyl retain most of an enhanced finish. Frame retains about 90% strong orig silver and the grips, most of a restored finish. Safety notch is not functioning otherwise mechanics are fine. Moderately pitted bore. Case is fine.
