OUTSTANDING 89-PIECE DINNER SERVICE WITH NAPOLEONIC SCENES. Impressed mark on base of fish platter from the firm of Haas & Czjzek (Bohemia). Each piece decorated with a different scene depicting Napoleon in various military campaigns and ceremonial scenes. The unmarked white blanks are decorated with gold Napoleonic symbols and decoration. The circular colorful scenes in bright colors and dramatic renderings. The base transfer scenes have oil hand painted highlights. The bases are marked with a capital “N” with crown above in gold and the title of the scene represented. Set consists of: Twelve 9-3/4” plates, twelve 9-1/2” soups, twelve 7-3/4” plates, sixteen 6” plates, eleven 4-1/2” saucers, twelve 3” dia. cups, 24-1/2” x 9-1/2” fish platter, 17” x 11-3/4” platter, 15-1/2” x 11” platter, 14” x 9-3/4” platter, 11-1/4” x 8” platter, 5” h x 10-3/4” dia footed bowl, 11-1/4” round tray, 13-1/2” dia x 2-1/2” h bowl, 6-1/4” h x 9-1/4” dia compote (repaired), 7” h x 11” dia covered bowl, 15” h double tier compote, two 10” x 5-1/4” dishes, 4-1/2” h x 10” sauce boat.
