Oil on canvas New York harbor scene shows a number of large vessels in light and dark green wavy water heading right to left past a round fort. The ships include a three-mast tall ship; a two-stack steamer; a single stack vessel; and four other smaller boats. A cliff edge is seen on the right side. All under a blue & cloud sky. Signed lower left and dated “88”. Housed in an outstanding reproduction gilt frame branded “Munn”. SIZE: 20″ x 29-3/4″. CONDITION: Relined, some inpainting, very good. 9-22420 (10,000-15,000)
