FRAMED AUTOGRAPH: WILBUR WRIGHT, AVIATOR (American, 1867-1912) & ORVILLE WRIGHT, AVIATOR (American, 1871-1948). Collage incorporating a postcard of Wilbur Wright in black and white which is autographed. Also a postcard showing the first manned flight, 1903 at Kitty Hawk which is signed “Orville Wright”. Also included in a print title “Honoring the Wright Brothers” and a First Day Issue showing Kitty Hawk map with different airmail stamps including 6 cent airmail (Wilbur & Orville Wright), 6 cent airmail (50th Anniversary of Powered Flight), 2 cent International Civil Aeronautics Conference, and two 31 cent US Airmail, postmark dated 1978. Housed in a silver wood frame with white matte having four cutouts. SIZE: Total: 27-1/2″ x 10-3/4″. PROVENANCE: Collection of Elwyn Dearborn, Medford, NJ & Portland, ME.
