LOT OF TWO CUSTOM TANK TRUCKS. 1) Early custom build “C” cab Richfield gasoline tank truck. Many features throughout, including chrome rails on top of simulated riveted gas tank, gasoline spigot on back of tank, chrome filler caps, six Richfield oil gasoline cans in racks on both sides of truck, horn on side of cab, glass windshield, simulated chain drive, simulated hand crank on front, sign on roof, six cast wheels with rubber tires, and moving suspension in back. Truck brightly colored and pin striped and features “Richfield The Gasoline of Power” and Richfield shield decals. Rear truck frame has “Sampson” embossed on back of frame. 2) Custom Gilmore Red Lion gasoline tank truck. Features six oil cans in racks on both sides of truck, two chrome filler caps on top and chrome spigot on back, custom cast wheels and rubber tires, painted bright red chassis and yellow cab, tank and wheels. Truck is pin striped and has Red Lion decals on sides and Gilmore Lion on sides of cab and back of tank and Red Lion sign on roof. SIZE: 1) 31″ 2) 26-1/2″. PROVENANCE: From the Collection of Malcolm Deisenroth, Jr. CONDITION: 1) Well executed in design.
