AMERICAN NATIONAL GASOLINE TRUCK. Large Richfield gasoline truck. This truck has large gas tank on back with spigot on back with “RICHFIELD THE GASOLINE OF POWER / RICHLUBE 100% PURE PENNSYLVANIA MOTOR OIL” decal on both sides. Truck is a C cab Mack with an oval window on each side, embossed louvers, front fenders, and short running boards. The tank and cab are black with yellow chassis and wheels. The wheels and chassis is decoratively pin striped in black. There were a lot of tanker trucks made by various toy makers but very few are private labeled like this and are very rare today. SIZE: 26″. PROVENANCE: From the collection of Malcolm Deisenroth, Jr. CONDITION: Good. There appears to be a thin black wash over most of the original black paint except for the Richfield decal area on tank on both sides. A few small dents. 1-10132 (800-1,200)
