REMINGTON RIDER DA CARTRIDGE CONVERSION POCKET REVOLVER WITH DISPLAY CASE. Cal. 32 RF Short. SN 5007. Blue finish with 3” oct bbl, checkered gutta percha 2-pc grips. Cylinder number “009”, frame numbered “6085”, assembled from parts by Remington, circa 1880. Crisp bbl markings. Accompanied by a 12” x 12” green felt display case containing a mounted sample of a 32 RF short cartridge and a full box of UMC 32 RF cartridges. There is also a copy of a Remington DA Pocket pistol advertisement. This case also has room for an orig boxed Remington Ryder Pocket Pistol (SN 4171) with accessories sold elsewhere in this auction. Also accompanied by framed orig instruction sheets for this revolver as well as pictures of various handles available for a cane gun (not included in this lot. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbl & cyl retain about 85% glossy orig blue with the loss areas flaked to a light patina with very fine pitting. Frame is a blue/brown patina. Grips are fine, mechanics crisp, bright shiny bore. Case, made by consignor, is fine. Box of ammo is soiled & faded. 4-59311 JH24 (500-1,000)
