BENCHMADE CHIPPENDALE STYLE INLAID MAHOGANY CHINA CABINET. Circa 1910. Molded swan’s neck cornice with floral rosettes centering a flame finial on pediment. The rectangular case having an inlaid urn within the frieze above a pair of astragal-glazed doors opening to four adjustable shelves and flanked by paterae of floral-filled urns, the case sides astragal-glazed, the apron with an oval inlaid fan. The whole raised on angular cabriole legs with scalloped returns, terminating in carved ball-and-claw feet. SIZE: 85″ h x 38″ w x 18″ d. PROVENANCE: From a Vassalboro, Maine Family Estate. CONDITION: All original, fitted with lighting, one glass panel broken, one foot re-glued. Very nice condition overall with good color. 9-92114 (1,000-2,000)
