WEDGWOOD FAIRYLAND LUSTRE SYCAMORE TREE MALFREY POT. Very pretty Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre malfrey pot is decorated in the Sycamore Tree pattern with midnight lustre sycamore trees adorned with flying fairies and gnomes. Sycamore leaves near the shoulder of the vase are set against a pink background which gives way to a cream colored background below. Cap of the malfrey pot is decorated with a spider web, spider with a fairy in the middle of the spider web holding sycamore leaves in each hand. Cap is further decorated with two Imps on the interior lying amongst pine boughs. Signed on the underside with black Portland vase mark, “Wedgwood Made in England” and “Z4968”. SIZE: 10″ t. CONDITION: Good with some wear to gilding. Cap has been professionally repaired. 5-63785 (7,000-9,000)
