REGENCY INLAID SATINWOOD TEA CADDY. First quarter 19th century. The hinged rectangular top with an inlaid oval paterae of a conch shell opening to interior fitted with two lined compartments, each with a conforming lid with string inlays in the form of fletchings. The front similarly inlaid. SIZE: 5″ h x 9″ l x 5″ d. CONDITION: Structurally very good. Surfaces cleaned and repolished. Ebony stringing intact. Very good overall. 9-22767 (1,500-2,500)
