REMINGTON #4 REVOLVER WITH DISPLAY CASE. Cal. 41 RF. SN 1642. Nickel finish, 2-3/8” rnd bbl with crisp markings, 2-pc plain black hard rubber grips, and standard sight. Accompanied by a 16-1/4” x 18-7/8” maroon velveteen lined display case made by consignor. It contains mountings for three revolvers, this one and two others (not included in this lot). It has single mounted 38 RF & 41 RF cartridges & an orig J.P. Lowell Arms Co. catalogue showing this revolver, a copy of the front cover of the J.P. Lowell catalogue, a copy of the 1877 catalogue page showing this revolver. CONDITION: Very fine to extremely fine. Retains virtually all of its orig factory nickel with a few scattered spots of light surface rust. Grips are fine. Mechanics are crisp. Strong bright bore with fine pitting.
