HAND PAINTED GERMAN TIN AMERICAN INDIAN TOY. A fine early German windup toy depicting an American Indian with a tomahawk in one hand and a bow & arrow in the other. A true lifelike depiction with painted feathers in his hair and wearing a Native American skirt about his waist. A unique toy that is seldom found in complete, original, untouched condition. When wound, figure wobbles side to side at his waist while his lead feet stabilize him as he dances across the table. SIZE: 7-1/2″ h. CONDITION: Overall very good all original condition, typical wear on legs at swivel point. 1-12460 (350-550)
