FRENCH TIN HUNTER PLATFORM TOY. A charming early 20th century hand painted toy depicting a hunter with his two hounds pursuing a leaping stag. When the toy is rolled across the floor, the front wheels by means of a wire make the stag leap up and down, and the rear wheels enable the pursuing hounds also jump up and down. SIZE: 6″ l. CONDITION: Overall very good, some minor solder repair at fixed attachment points of animals. 1-12522 (500-700)
