NEW ENGLAND CHIPPENDALE MAPLE TALL CHEST OF DRAWERS. Last quarter 18th century, probably New Hampshire. The rectangular dovetailed case with applied molded cornice fitted with 6 graduated thumbmolded long drawers, raised on ogee bracket feet. SIZE: 62″ h x 37-1/2″ w (case) x 19″ d (overall). CONDITION: With older mahoganized finish (early 20th century) and replaced brass hardware of the same period. Backboards original as are the bracket feet. Very good overall. 9-96969 (2,500-4,500)
